Father’s Day Gifts for an Adventure/Science-Loving Dad!

Life is an adventure best traveled together.

We are excited to celebrate our dad (my husband) this Sunday. His favorite things to do has always involved fun adventures and science experiments with our kids. We have compiled a list of his top five favorite gifts we have given him over the years.

1. Game Cam

My husband’s favorite gift we have given him over the years has been this game cam. He and our kids love to set it out at our campsite, favorite hiking trail, and even the side of our house to see which creatures we can spot.

2. Rock Hounding Books

As many know, my husband is a Geologist, and one of our family’s favorite activities is to go Rock Hounding. The Falcon Guidebooks series are great. Get the one for the states near you, informing you on rockhounding sites and what type of minerals or rocks they find there. These books are a gift any adventure-loving dad will love.

3. Science Experiment Books

Our kitchen often looks like a middle school science lab. And honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way. We love trying out new science experiments and have loved this book. It makes a great gift.

4. Science Magic Kit

We love National Geographic’s Science Magic Kit. My husband loves to do “Magic” for the kids. Our kids love to do this science magic kit with him. This kit is a great gift for Father’s Day from his science-loving kiddos.

5. Nature Bingo

This game is a MUST-have for outdoor families. We love playing this game when hiking, camping, and rock-hounding. It might seem like a gift for your kids HOWEVER; it is for the entire family. It makes an already awesome family adventure even more fun for everyone.
